The excellent schools in the Ladue School District include Ladue Horton Watkins High School, Ladue Middle School, Conway, Old Bonhomme, Reed, Spoede and Early Childhood Center. In 2002 and 2003, the district received the "What Parents Want Award" from the educational consulting and research firm SchoolMatch. It was also named the gold medal district by Expansion Management Magazine, and approximately ten percent of each graduating class for the past 20 years has been recognized by the National Merit Program as a finalist, semifinalist or commended student. In addition, Ladue Horton Watkins High School has earned accreditation status from the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools each year since 1954.
Residents of Ladue enjoy convenient access to several upscale shopping locations. The Galleria is located on the southwest corner of Brentwood Boulevard and Clayton Road, and the exceptional Plaza Frontenac can be found on the southwest corner of Lindbergh Boulevard and Clayton Road.
